SCROLL

ISYS-ON Ltd., the Hungarian distributor of QAD Enterprise Applications, held its Partner Meeting for the 16th time in October 2025. The event offered an excellent opportunity for ISYS-ON to present the latest innovations, trends, and case studies to its partners. Participants not only gained up-to-date information but also had the chance to share their experiences and draw inspiration from the success stories and innovative IT solutions of other companies.

This year’s event was particularly memorable for Goodwill Pharma Plc., as the company received two prestigious awards. Goodwill Pharma won the title of “The Most Comprehensive QAD Enterprise Applications Implementation of the Year”, while Barnabás Csikós, the project manager, was awarded the title of “Best-Coordinated QAD Enterprise Applications Project Manager of the Year.”

Behind the Success: Strategic Thinking and Consistent Development

In 2022, Goodwill Pharma Plc. decided to enhance the efficiency of its economic processes by implementing the QAD Enterprise Applications enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The project’s goal was to introduce a business solution aligned with the company’s strategic vision and adaptable to changes that had already been realized. The result was a more transparent, flexible, and future-proof corporate operation—both at the ownership and operational levels.

When selecting the system, it was a key consideration that the new IT solution comply with the strict regulatory requirements typical of the pharmaceutical industry, ensure group-level operations in financial areas, and meet the regulatory standards related to the company’s planned stock exchange listing.

A Multi-Phase Strategic Implementation – On the Path of Gradual Development

The implementation of the QAD Enterprise Applications system at Goodwill Pharma Plc. took place in several phases, each supporting the company’s growth and digitalization goals step by step.

  • Phase 1 – 2023:
The first phase focused on supporting the group’s financial and accounting processes, as well as integrating order management, inventory control, and invoicing processes related to webshop retail sales. These developments provided unified and transparent day-to-day operations.
  • Phase 2 – 2024:
The QAD Enterprise Applications system was extended to all business areas of Goodwill Pharma Plc. This included the implementation of IT support for procurement, inventory management, barcode-based warehouse management, production planning, online production tracking, delivery, quality assurance, and sales processes. Simultaneously, the product costing, post-calculation, and related controlling systems were finalized, enabling economic planning and analytical capabilities integrated with inventory and production modules.
  • Phase 3 – 2025:
In 2025, alongside its dietary supplement production, Goodwill Pharma Plc. expanded into pharmaceutical manufacturing. Accordingly, GMP-compliant operational and administrative procedures were introduced into logistics processes, officially validated by the NIPN (National Institute of Pharmacy and Nutrition).
  • Plans – 2026:
The next year’s goal is the full-scale extension of GMP standards to the production and quality assurance processes within QAD Enterprise Applications, as well as rolling out the Hungarian parent company’s business model to its international subsidiaries—further strengthening the group’s unified, standardized operations.

In parallel with its IT developments, Goodwill Pharma Plc. also carried out several other projects, including production capacity expansion, installation of new production lines, warehouse enlargement, and construction of a new office building. Managing all these initiatives simultaneously presented significant challenges for project management, but thanks to the dedicated work of the implementation team, every development was completed on schedule, at the planned quality, and within the expected timeline—fully meeting the original objectives.

These awards reflect not only the successful implementation of the system but also Goodwill Pharma’s commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
