What types of innovation are we primarily looking for?
Innovative food supplements
We are seeking new developments, active ingredients and ingredient combinations that may provide advanced solutions in areas including:
- health maintenance and preventive care;
- supporting the normal function of the immune system;
- maintaining joint, bone and muscle health;
- supporting mental performance and healthy ageing;
- maintaining cardiovascular health;
- supporting normal metabolic processes;
- specific areas of women’s and men’s health;
- nourishing the skin, hair and nails;
- sport, recovery and an active lifestyle;
- and other scientifically supportable health-related applications.
We welcome new active ingredients, botanical extracts, fermentation-derived ingredients, microbiome-supporting solutions, innovative combinations and technologies designed to improve absorption, stability or ease of use.
We are also interested in novel delivery formats, including capsules, tablets, chewable tablets, gummies, orally disintegrating products, powders, granules, liquids, liposomal formulations and other innovative dosage forms.
Topical and locally applied products
We have a particular interest in innovations that may form the basis of products applied locally to the skin, mucous membranes or specific areas of the body.
- creams, gels, ointments, balms and emulsions;
- sprays, foams, solutions and serums;
- patches and innovative delivery systems;
- topical products for joints and muscles;
- dermatological and skincare innovations;
- solutions supporting wound care or skin regeneration;
- products intended for intimate, oral, ear or other local applications;
- formulations that may be marketed as medical devices, cosmetics or under another appropriate regulatory category;
- technologies improving local bioavailability, stability or targeted delivery.
We are not only looking for market-ready products
We are also open to early-stage concepts supported by sound scientific reasoning. This may include a novel active ingredient, an identified mechanism of action, a prototype, a distinctive formulation, a patented technology or a research result that can be transformed into a commercially viable product with the right industrial partner.
We particularly value:
- a clearly identified consumer or healthcare need;
- a strong scientific rationale;
- preliminary laboratory, preclinical or clinical results;
- an appropriate safety profile;
- patentability or existing intellectual-property protection;
- manufacturing feasibility and scale-up potential;
- a realistic regulatory pathway;
- domestic and international market potential.
