Szent-Györgyi Albert Rotary Club

Goodwill Pharma is a sponsor of the “Gift of Life” program, which was initiated by Rotarians. The program will be hosted by Szeged for three years, within the framework of the Szent-Györgyi Albert Rotary Club. Rotary is a club of people who want to make the world a better place. The movement, which has been active in Szeged since 1928, was founded by Professor Albert Szent-Györgyi. It was an obvious choice, therefore, when the organisation, which was re-established in 1991, took the name of the Nobel Prize-winning researcher, a researcher whose work, discoveries and general spirit is the very will to improve. The intention is matched by action at Rotary, where the Gift of Life programme has been working for years to support heart surgery for sick children from abroad.
