Sport, community spirit and celebration came together on October 14 at the Goodwill Pharma Campus in Szeged. As title sponsor, Goodwill Pharma Plc. welcomed the women’s and men’s teams of SZVE Goodwill Pharma Fortacell for a special evening dedicated to celebrating the outstanding players of the 2025/2026 water polo season.
On this occasion, the rooftop terrace of the Goodwill Campus was transformed from a venue for business meetings into a place of sporting celebration. Players, coaches, club representatives and invited guests gathered to reflect on the past season and recognise the achievements of Szeged’s finest water polo players.
As host of the evening, Dr. Ferenc Jójárt, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Goodwill Pharma Plc., welcomed the guests. In his speech, he emphasised that, as a Szeged-based company, supporting local sports and communities holds particular importance for Goodwill Pharma.
“When we support water polo in Szeged, we stand alongside a community to which we ourselves belong. We share the same hometown and the same ambition: to give as many people as possible a reason to be proud of Szeged’s achievements,” he said.
He also highlighted the values shared by water polo and the pharmaceutical industry, emphasising the importance of knowledge, perseverance, discipline and teamwork. As he noted, “The most important thing we have in common, however, is that behind every visible achievement lies an enormous amount of unseen effort.”
The partnership between Goodwill Pharma and Szeged’s water polo community goes far beyond title sponsorship. For the company, the perseverance, team spirit and unity demonstrated in sport reflect values that are equally essential to its everyday operations. The choice of the Fortacell brand as part of the team’s name is no coincidence: the brand symbolises strength, protection and unity. As the Chairman and CEO expressed it, “True strength lies in making each other stronger.”
Four Players, Four Outstanding Achievements
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of awards recognising the top performers of the 2025/2026 Hungarian First Division (OB I) water polo season. A total of four players from the women’s and men’s teams received awards for their outstanding achievements.
Women’s Team Award Winners:
- Sára Anikó Felkai – Top Scorer of the Season
- Szonja Tátrai – Most Valuable Player of the Season
Men’s Team Award Winners:
- Noel Gólya – Top Scorer of the Season
- Dominik Péter Kürti – Most Valuable Player of the Season
The awards recognised not only the players’ outstanding performances in the pool, but also the countless hours of training, dedication, perseverance and teamwork behind their success.
We warmly congratulate all the award winners and wish both the women’s and men’s teams continued success in the seasons ahead!
